About the Author

Elian-James Showell (also known as Eight) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Missoula, Montana. With a background in architecture from Philadelphia University, Eight worked in design for a decade before shifting to tattoo artistry in 2014. Their creative work is influenced by a deep spiritual practice, blending bold linework, intricate patterns, and abstract mystical concepts. Eight's previous deck, Eight Coins’ Tattoo Tarot, gained recognition for its distinctive style. This oracle deck continues their exploration of symbolism and divination.
