About the Author
Elian-James Showell (also known as Eight) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Missoula, Montana. With a background in architecture from Philadelphia University, Eight worked in design for a decade before shifting to tattoo artistry in 2014. Their creative work is influenced by a deep spiritual practice, blending bold linework, intricate patterns, and abstract mystical concepts. Eight's previous deck,
