The Hunter, a figure from our pre-agricultural past, is a master tracker who knows which path to follow for success. He takes only what the village needs to survive, often only one creature—the “good kill.”
The Invitation of the Hunter
The Hunter invites you to rely on your own skills to navigate the dense forest you’re in and reach your destination. Follow the tracks left by Spirit to claim your bounty, which is already prepared and offered to you. Don’t follow others’ maps—they won’t lead you true. Instead, become the mapmaker, find your internal compass, and use all your senses, including common sense.
The Medicine of the Hunter
Avoid settling for the easy catch—it could be poison. Be cautious not to become the prey of your desires and fantasies. Remember not to want more than you need to avoid being guided by unchecked ambition. It’s okay to return home empty-handed sometimes.
