It Is Time!

Hello, I’m Nena, a 33-year-old university teacher, and this is my first blog for tarot.nl. I want to take you along on my spiritual journey of self-discovery. As I age, I find myself increasingly entrenched in familiar patterns. The routine of everyday life has stealthily infiltrated my existence. On one hand, I appreciate the comfort and security that routines provide. They offer a sense of stability and predictability, which I find reassuring. However, I also feel stifled by this comfort zone, as it shields me from confronting myself and stepping out of my comfort zone.

The Quest for Self-Discovery

I’ve always been an emotional and empathetic person, deeply interested in others. But I’ve realized that in focusing on others, I’ve lost touch with myself. What are my desires? Where do my passions lie? What values are most important to me? I yearn for fulfillment, depth, and a connection with my true self. But who is this true self? Who is Nena, and what does she stand for? As I pen this, I realize that I want to understand myself better.

The Cards Choose Me

At 27, I attended a spiritual fair out of sheer curiosity. I felt out of place amidst the candle wax fortune tellers, mediums, chakra healers, and aura photographers. Then, I stumbled upon a stand filled with spiritual books and cards. I wasn’t looking, but the cards found me, guided by the friendly lady who sold them. I bought a deck but never used it, lacking the patience and time to study them. Now, six years later, I retrieve the deck from my bookshelf. It’s time. Time to delve into the world of tarot and follow my intuition.
