Theresa Hutch is an artist, illustrator, and writer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is best known for creating the White Sage Tarot, Land Sky Oracle, and Nature Quest Oracle, all published by U.S. Games Systems Inc. Her work often incorporates elements of nature, yoga, and meditation, reflecting her personal interests and practices.
Hutch's artistic journey includes a B.A. in Design Communications from the University of Minnesota and an art teaching certification from Western Michigan University. Additionally, she is a registered yoga teacher with over a thousand hours of teaching experience. This blend of artistic and spiritual practices deeply influences her tarot and oracle decks, which are known for their minimalist and calming designs.
In her White Sage Tarot, Hutch integrates ancient healing traditions, featuring animals in the court cards and chakra colors in the minor arcana, aiming to balance masculine and feminine energies and help users find clarity in their lives. The deck comes in a tin with 78 pocket-sized cards and a 64-page booklet.
Hutch works out of her studio in the Casket Arts Building in Minneapolis and is also involved in teaching yoga and participating in art shows. She runs an online shop, Small Cloud Shop, where she sells her decks and other artistic creations. Through her website, she supports environmental causes by planting a tree with every deck purchase.
