Ma Deva Padma's creations have guided and inspired generations for over thirty years. She is the creator of two well-known tarot and oracle card decks, the best-selling Osho Zen Tarot: The Transcendental Game of Zen, and The Tao Oracle: An Illuminated New Approach to the I Ching. Her long-awaited Sacred She Tarot has been fifteen years in the making and will joyfully be released on November 7, 2023. It is the third and most personal of Padma's offerings that complete a trinity of her inspirational works.Developing this collection has been a gradual process that afforded her a precious opportunity to reflect upon her life’s journey as a woman, mother, friend, artist, and devoted seeker of personal and spiritual development. Padma's mystic quest into the nature of being led her into the realm of the Divine Feminine that she experiences as foundational to all.The Sacred She Tarot results from an artist's self-imposed pilgrimage into the underlying patterns that produce emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual stress. She realized that the best use of her creative talents was to illustrate a new tarot of 78 cards, depicting essential aspects of the soul's journey from chaos toward wholeness. These cards are designed to spark recognition within the reader. They represent a range of moods, encounters, and opportunities in daily life and within the spirit dimension.The Sacred She Tarot focuses on establishing self-awareness that gradually results in clearing, simplifying, and balancing every aspect of life. In the bigger picture, the critical need for renewal is essential for the well-being of all life on planet Earth. Obviously, every person is different, yet over many years, I have found signature experiences and insights common to us all. With these in mind, I began the art for this deck, hoping it would serve others in their quest for self-awareness and ultimately realize the treasure of their own being.The timing is right for The Sacred She Tarot to offer soulful nourishment and clarity as we transition out of an exhausted old-world order burdened under the weight of aggressive yang, male dominance. The Sacred She aims to help right that imbalance by illuminating a path toward the divine feminine principles of respect, nurture, and inner peace, regardless of gender.Deva Padma lives and works with her artist husband at their studio in rural Australia.
