Reviews
This deck is gorgeous. The illustrations are beautiful and the quality of the cards is excellent, with a lovely texture to the cards and a solid presentation box. I love the imagery and symbolism for each writer and each 'object'. The representation is quite diverse, which is wonderful to see, and might introduce some people to lesser known literary figures. One aspect that some people might find to be a drawback is that the guidebook is extremely minimal, with some basic biographical details for the people and a couple of keywords associated with the other cards. Personally, I love how that leaves it mostly open to my own interpretation and encourages my own exploration and research, but especially if you are not as familiar with a certain figure or symbol, you might find the guidebook and provided interpretations very limited. Otherwise, this is a great deck, especially for those with a literary interest.
